El 2 de julio de 2026, el Laboratorio de Sistemas Inteligentes (LabSI) participó en la Jornada de Iniciación Científica de la Facultad de Ingeniería Eléctrica (FIE) de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, presentando dos proyectos que reflejan el trabajo, la innovación y el compromiso de sus estudiantes e investigadores.
El primer proyecto, “Sistema inteligente para integrar energía fotovoltaica y prevenir sobrecargas en transformadores”, fue desarrollado por Raquel Figueroa, Paúl García y Elim Graell, bajo la asesoría del Ing. Javier Arroyo.
El segundo proyecto, “Desarrollo de compuertas lógicas usando microcircuitos neumáticos”, fue presentado por Luis Cheung y Samuel Liu, bajo la asesoría del Ing. Carlos Peralta.
La participación en esta jornada permitió compartir los avances del trabajo desarrollado dentro de LabSI y promover el interés por la investigación científica, la innovación y el desarrollo tecnológico.
LabSI felicita a todos los participantes por representar al laboratorio y demostrar cómo la investigación puede generar soluciones innovadoras para los desafíos de la ingeniería.
LabSI Presents Two Projects at the 2026 Scientific Research Conference
On July 2, 2026, the Intelligent Systems Laboratory (LabSI) participated in the Scientific Research Conference of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FIE) at the Technological University of Panama, presenting two projects that reflect the work, innovation, and commitment of its students and researchers.
The first project, “Intelligent System for Integrating Photovoltaic Energy and Preventing Transformer Overloads,” was developed by Raquel Figueroa, Paúl García, and Elim Graell, under the supervision of Eng. Javier Arroyo.
The second project, “Development of Logic Gates Using Pneumatic Microcircuits,” was presented by Luis Cheung and Samuel Liu, under the supervision of Eng. Carlos Peralta.
Participation in this event provided an opportunity to showcase the work developed within LabSI while promoting scientific research, innovation, and technological development.
LabSI congratulates all participants for representing the laboratory and demonstrating how research can contribute to innovative solutions for engineering challenges.
